a month agoWe visited VB World for the first time to try out their vegetarian options, and honestly, we were pleasantly shocked by the sheer enormous variety on their menu! 🌱 From starters to mains and even desserts, the choices were endless, making it a true PARADISE for vegetarians. The food overall had a lovely, authentic taste and each dish brought something different to the table. Filter coffee is a must to have plus the pasta with pesto sauce. Even their desserts stood out with some quirky, unique options you don’t usually find elsewhere. The only slight letdown was the so-called VB Special Paneer, which felt a bit underwhelming – just plain paneer dipped in tomato gravy. Apart from that, everything else we tried was absolutely a must-try! If you’re a vegetarian or just love exploring flavorful veg food, VB World is definitely worth a visit. 🌿🍴

5 months agoThis restaurant is located very close to the Sharaf DG Metro Station, which makes it super convenient to reach. I had seen it featured all over Instagram—people were talking about their offer of 7 varieties of unlimited dosa for just AED 9. The concept sounded exciting and budget-friendly, so I decided to try it out. When I arrived, the place was extremely crowded. The staff had to take down customer names and call them in order, which wasn’t surprising considering they were serving unlimited dosa. It took about an hour before my name was called and I finally got a seat. Unfortunately, the service was quite slow. Despite the unlimited offer, dosas were being served only about once every 30 minutes. When I asked the staff what varieties were available, they told me they only had Masala Dosa, Plain Dosa, Gingelly Oil Dosa, and Kara Dosa. Ragi Dosa and Wheat Dosa were not available. I said no problem and asked them to serve whatever they had. I tried the Masala Dosa, Gingelly Oil Dosa, and Kara Dosa—all of which were delicious. The presentation was nice, and the sides—coconut chutney, tomato chutney, peanut chutney, and sambar—were flavorful and paired well with the dosas. The concept of serving unlimited dosas at such an affordable price is great, and if a restaurant offers quality food at budget-friendly rates, it’s sure to succeed. However, I also noticed that the regular menu prices are quite high for the location, which may be off-putting to some customers. One positive aspect is the availability of parking outside the restaurant, which is definitely convenient. However, I was disappointed to see that the restaurant charges AED 3 for a small bottle of water. Honestly, water should be complimentary in dine-in restaurants. Trying to make money off basic necessities like water just doesn’t feel right. Overall, while the food was good and the idea behind the unlimited dosa offer is solid, the restaurant clearly struggles with crowd management and service speed. With better organization and more attention to customer experience, this place has potential. Final Rating: 3 out of 5 stars

a month agoVB World by Namma Veedu Vasanta Bhavan is truly a vegetarian’s paradise in Dubai! 🌿 From the moment you walk in, the ambience feels warm, welcoming, and filled with positive vibes. The interiors are modern yet carry a touch of tradition, making it perfect for families, friends, or even business dining. The food is nothing short of spectacular. Every dish is bursting with authentic South Indian flavors, served fresh and with the perfect balance of spice and taste. The variety is impressive – from crispy dosas and fluffy idlis to flavorful North Indian curries and global vegetarian options – there’s something to please every palate. What makes the experience even better is the hospitality. The staff are attentive, courteous, and always ready to guide you through the menu with great recommendations. The service is quick, and the presentation is beautiful, adding to the overall experience. VB World is not just a restaurant, it’s a complete experience – where traditional vegetarian cuisine meets modern dining in the most delightful way. Whether you’re a long-time vegetarian or simply love good food, this place is a must-visit in Dubai! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy a wholesome, flavorful, and memorable dining experience.
